It’s located to the north site of Huaraz on Ishinca & Cojup valley, convining traverse with climbing mount Ishinca, with gorgeous view about glacier lakes, wild animals, which live on the high site, this traverse is completely distinct and abrupt than other treks, but is so beauty.

Itinerary

Departure from Huaraz at 7:00 am toward north – east until Pashpa village at 3600m, from this village we will start walking up enjoying the view several peaks including Huascaran at 6768m, and dense Quenual forest after 4 hours walking up we will reach the base camp at 4350m. Overnight camp at Ishinca base camp.

After our breakfast we will start walking up toward the pass Ishinca and Ranrapalca at 5200m, where we will traverse about 30 minutes glacier field, enjoying splendid view about giant peaks as: Ranrapalca at 662m, Tullparaju at 5780m, Palcaraju at 6110m, and majestic Huascaran summits behind us, several glacier lakes in each valleys, we walk down until Pelorcocha camp site. Overnight cap at Pelorcocha.

After our breakfast at 3:00 am we will start walking up toward the pass between Ishinca and Ranrapalca at 5100m mountains, from this point we will start climbing up Ishinca with some steep sections on the south ridge until reach the summit, in the morning when sun is raising we will have a breathtaking view about giant Ranrapalca 6162 m, Ocshapalca 5885 m, Copa 6188 m, Tocllaraju 6034 m, Urus 5495 m and Chinchey mountains, then we will descent on the same route up until Pelorcocha camp and then we will continue descending until our next camp at ahead Cojup valley. Last night cap at Pelorcocha.

After our breakfast we will walk down along Cojup valley, after 4 hours walking down we will get until Cojup gate, where our private transport is waiting us to drive Huaraz.
