Program
Día 01: Huaraz - Wilcacocha Lagoon (3800 mts) - Huaraz
City of Huaraz 3100 meters – Wilcacocha lagoon (3800 meters) – (Return to Huaraz) (4 hours of round trip walking and 1 hour of round trip transportation).
Departure from the city of Huaraz at 9:00 am. Heading south of the Callejón de Huaylas to the place called Shansha, where we begin the walk ascending a zigzagging path, appreciating a lot of vegetation, higher up we can see gigantic mountains of the Cordillera Blanca. Arriving at the beautiful lagoon we will be able to appreciate a large part of the White Mountain Range. Where we can have a 1-hour break to eat and take beautiful photographs of this lagoon located in the Cordillera Negra.
Then we return for 2 hours, to return to the city of Huaraz.
