Located in Yungay town in Llanganuco valley bellow Chacraraju mountain, this lake is one of the most beautiful azure lake, its surrounded by huge sharp peaks, which are reflecting in to the lake, by his beauty landscape receive year a year many visitants from different nationalities. This hike you can do as acclimatization before Pisco climbign, further from Pisco summit we will see several magnificent peaks.

Itinerary
Day 1: Huaraz at (3100m) – Yungay city at (2550m) – Cebollapampa at (3900m) –69 Lake at (4655m) – Cebollapampa camp at (3900m). (Trek time: 6 hours (walk up & walk down) / driving time: 3 hours (go & back).
Departure from Huaraz at 7.00 am we will drive along Callejon de Huaylas to the north side until Yungay city, then we continue driving up until reach Lake Chinancocha at 3850m, where we will make short stop again to take gorgeously pictures about amazing green turquoise lake, after that we will continue driving up until Cebollapampa, from this place we will start walking up toward lake 69, the trail go through, Quenual trees, typical highland plants, as soon as we get higher, we will enjoy seeing giant peaks as: Chacraraju at 6112m, Pisco at 5752m, Yanapaccha mountains at 5460m, and majestic Huascaran south peak at 6768m until reach lake 69 at 4500m, where we will have lunch, enjoying the view, and focusing scenic pictures, after that we came back walking down until Cebollapampa camping spot. Overnight camp at Cebollapmapa.
Day 2: Cebollapampa camp at (3900m) – Pisco base camp.at (4665m). (Trek time: 3 hours (walk up).
After our breakfast at 8:00am we will start walking up toward Pisco base camp our climb gear will be transported by donkey service until base camp at 46650m. Overnight camp at base camp.
Day 3: Pisco base camp. at (4665m) – Pisco summit at (5752m) - base camp at (4665m). (Climbing time: 10 hours (ascent & descent).
After our breakfast at 1:00 we will start walking up toward Pisco summit at 5752m, after 3 hours climbing up we will pass the rocky moraine side, we will be at glacier edge, after 4 hours climbing up we will reach the top, on the summit we will see more than 10 summits, which are over 6 thousand meters high including giant mount Huascaran. Then we will descent until our camping spot. Last night camp at base camp.
Day 4: Pisco base camp at (4665m) – Cebollapampa at (3900m) – Huaraz. (Trek time: 3 hours (descent)/ driving time: 3 hours).
After our hearty breakfast we will pick up our climb gear to walk down until Cebollapampa, where our private transport is waiting us to drive Huaraz. End our expeditions.
